Research Plan

 

- NEXIS will strengthen the European Photonics based industry by developing new X-ray modalities, including European based manufacturing. 

 

- The proposed interventional NEXIS system consists of an innovative multi-layered, spectral X-ray detector stack with related advanced image processing.
 

- NEXIS will allow fast stroke diagnosis of patients directly in the interventional treatment suite, a conventional CT scan is skipped to save time and therefore brain tissue.
